Will this get my Instagram account banned?
There is always some risk when using automation on Instagram. slowfollow is designed to minimise that risk — small daily limits, random delays, and spread-across-day mode make the pattern look human. Ghost Mode (3/day) is the safest option. That said, no tool can guarantee zero risk, and by using slowfollow you accept that outcome.
Do my Instagram credentials leave my computer?
No. slowfollow runs a local backend on your machine (port 8000). Your username and password are sent to that local server only — never to any external API, cloud service, or third party.
How many unfollows can I do per day?
Ghost Mode: 3/day. Slow & Steady: 7/day. Normal: 15/day. Extreme: 25/day. Limits reset at local midnight. We recommend Ghost or Slow & Steady for accounts you want to keep safe long-term.
Can I pause and resume the queue?
Yes. You can pause at any time. The queue is saved and resumes from where it left off when you hit Start again.
Does it work on Mac or Linux?
Currently Windows 10/11 (64-bit) only. Mac support may come in a future release.
What if I want to move my license to a new computer?
Go to Settings → License → Deactivate to release the key from your current machine. Then activate it on your new machine with the same key.
